About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Canadas Best Value Inn & Suites. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase sales, and enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all guests receive a warm and welcoming experience.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Food Safety and Quality
    • Ensure that all food safety and quality standards are met, including proper food handling, storage, and preparation procedures.
    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that the restaurant meets all health and safety regulations.
  • Staff Development and Training
    • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for restaurant staff, including coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage restaurant finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role
    • Proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
