Enterprise Risk Management Advisor

Become an integral part of CMHC's mission by contributing to the establishment of a comprehensive Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) initiative as a GRC Program Integrator. In this advisory role, you will collaborate with multiple departments within CMHC to drive the effective deployment of the GRC framework. Your key duties will encompass formulating a strategic approach for GRC implementation, crafting robust frameworks and methodologies, facilitating stakeholder workshops, and offering expert guidance on risk management across various business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a persuasive vision for the GRC initiative
  • Construct a solid framework for the GRC platform
  • Facilitate workshops with key stakeholders
  • Deliver subject matter expertise to various business units
  • Foster relationships throughout CMHC to enhance understanding of GRC principles
  • Collaborate with all business lines to offer risk management expertise
  • Establish and nurture effective working relationships
  • Communicate GRC concepts in clear and accessible language

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or computer science
  • At least ten years of experience in risk management
  • Proven leadership and strategic planning capabilities
  • In-depth knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management Framework
  • Experience in executing GRC platforms at an organizational level
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Capacity to distill complex information and articulate GRC concepts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency in both French and English
