As a Senior Manager within our Enterprise Risk – Technology Risk division, you will leverage your expertise to assist clients in navigating and mitigating risks effectively. Your role will involve evaluating IT controls, optimizing system designs, and addressing enterprise-wide issues as a trusted advisor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the planning and execution of enterprise risk management consulting projects, including risk assessments, internal audits, IT audits, and performance improvement initiatives across diverse sectors.
  • Supervise and enhance practice and business management, focusing on:
    • Leading multiple engagement teams across various practice areas
    • Resource allocation and scheduling
    • Quality assurance
    • Efficient project delivery
    • Timely invoicing and management of work in progress
    • Developing and refining methodologies for team implementation.
  • Define engagement parameters, including scope, criteria, and procedures.
  • Facilitate client interactions, including information gathering, status updates, and presentation of findings.
  • Provide industry insights and technical expertise through research, analysis, and high-quality deliverables.
  • Identify innovative strategies to enhance client value and foster strong relationships.
  • Maintain rigorous quality control and apply specialized knowledge to proactively address potential risks relevant to clients.
  • Support business development efforts, including proposal writing and participation in sales meetings.
  • Engage with the local business community to explore opportunities and lead the development of competitive proposals.
  • Mentor and support junior team members throughout project engagements.
  • Guide and motivate team members towards their professional growth through clear expectations and constructive feedback.
  • Be prepared to travel as necessary.

Required Skills and Experience

  • A University Degree or equivalent is required.
  • At least one of the following designations is required: Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Professional Engineer.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in risk management, internal audit, or finance is essential.
  • Proven experience in leading teams within a professional services context is required.
  • Must possess valid security clearance for Canadian federal government or be eligible to obtain it.
  • Experience with Canadian federal government entities is advantageous.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is a plus.
  • Contributions to thought leadership through publications or presentations are considered an asset.
  • Additional relevant certifications are beneficial.
  • Strong people management, relationship-building, and leadership capabilities are essential.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills are a must.
