As a Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our clients through the complexities of risk management. Your expertise will help organizations mitigate potential risks and enhance their operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the planning and execution of enterprise risk management consulting projects, including risk evaluations, internal audits, IT audits, and performance enhancement initiatives.
  • Supervise and facilitate practice and business management, ensuring:
    • Effective leadership of multiple engagement teams across various sectors.
    • Accurate resource forecasting and scheduling.
    • High standards of quality management.
    • Efficient delivery of engagements.
    • Timely billing and management of work in progress.
  • Develop and refine methodologies for team implementation across diverse practice areas.
  • Define engagement scope, criteria, and procedures.
  • Engage with clients through information-gathering interviews, status updates, and presentation of findings.
  • Provide technical and industry insights through client interactions, research, analysis, and high-quality deliverables.
  • Identify innovative solutions to enhance client value and foster strong relationships.
  • Uphold quality control and leverage specialized knowledge to proactively address client-specific issues and risks.
  • Support sales initiatives, including proposal development and participation in sales meetings.
  • Network within the business community to identify growth opportunities and lead the preparation of competitive proposals.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members throughout project delivery.
  • Encourage professional growth by setting clear expectations, providing constructive feedback, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Maintain flexibility for travel as required.

Qualifications

  • A University Degree or equivalent is required.
  • At least one of the following designations is mandatory: Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Professional Engineer.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in risk management, internal audit, or finance is essential.
  • Proven experience in leading teams within a professional services context is required.
  • Must possess valid security clearance for Canadian federal government or be eligible to obtain it.
  • Experience with Canadian federal government entities is advantageous.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is a plus.
  • Contributions to thought leadership through publications or presentations are considered an asset.
  • Additional relevant certifications are beneficial.
  • Strong people management, relationship-building, and leadership capabilities are essential.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills are a must.
