This key leadership role supports the Corporation in delivering its mandate to facilitate opportunities for Canadian exporters in a Government-to-Government model while promoting and protecting its reputation and effectiveness through the continued development of critical risk programs in collaboration with other business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directing the Corporation's Enterprise Risk Management Program
  • Providing assurance to senior executives and the Board of Directors regarding risk management, strategy, and organizational performance
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to develop critical risk programs
  • Leading a team of risk management professionals
  • Developing and implementing risk management strategies
  • Monitoring and reporting on risk management performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, commerce, or a related field
  • Professional risk management or financial analyst designation is a strong asset
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in risk management and risk programs
  • Minimum 10 years of leadership and management experience, preferably in an international business environment
  • Knowledge of legislation, regulations, central agency policies, and procedures governing financial administration affecting bidding, contracting, and tendering processes
  • Requirements for risk management for Crown Corporations
  • Proficiency in both official languages is highly desirable
