Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract international students to York University
  • Deliver recruitment presentations and engage with international students, parents, and educators to promote our university's programs and services
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in international student recruitment
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement recruitment programs and strategies
  • Provide excellent customer service to international students, parents, and educators, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in international student recruitment regulations and policies, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations

Requirements:

  • 2 years' recent related experience in international student recruitment, educational liaison, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with international students, parents, and educators
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends and opportunities in international student recruitment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong commitment to collaboration and customer service
  • Valid passport and a reliable vehicle for travel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a university or educational setting
  • Knowledge of Ontario university system admissions criteria and university programs
  • Fluency in multiple languages, particularly in languages spoken in countries with high demand for international students
