Job Title: Stable Hand

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Stable Hand to join our team at HIGHLINER STABLES LTD.

Job Summary:

The Stable Hand will be responsible for the daily care and maintenance of our horses, including monitoring their health, performing feeding tasks, and operating farm machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor animal health and report any issues to the supervisor
  • Perform livestock feeding and ensure the horses receive proper nutrition
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including tractors and plows
  • Clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in all weather conditions
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Positive attitude and punctuality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions:

The Stable Hand will work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
