About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Jacal Inv. Inc. as a key member of our culinary operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient and effective food service operations.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and compliance.
  • Menu Planning and Inventory Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory levels.
    • Work closely with our culinary team to develop and implement menu plans that meet quality control standards and customer expectations.
  • Customer Service and Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
    • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth and improvement.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of staff performance, training, and development.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in food service management or a related field.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
    • Physically demanding role requiring excellent stamina and mobility.
