Job Summary

The Electrical Systems Specialist at Septodont is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of production and manufacturing equipment, as well as plant computerized building automation systems. This role requires expertise in electrical systems, including low-voltage equipment, PLCs, and servo drives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical production equipment, including PLCs, servo drives, and motion controllers.
  • Maintain and repair low-voltage electrical building equipment, including generators, transformers, and switchgear.
  • Use test instruments to diagnose problems and determine electrical load and power quality.
  • Update electrical drawings for facility and production equipment.
  • Coordinate electrical equipment changes and modifications.
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to provide electrical expertise.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations.

Qualifications

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline from a recognized academic institution.

Experience:

  • Expert knowledge in maintaining electrical systems within a manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced knowledge in Allen Bradley, Siemens PLCs, and servo/motion controllers.
  • Understanding of electrical utility systems for facilities and production equipment.
