Electrical Systems Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at itec group, Inc. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of electrical systems within the automotive manufacturing facility. Your expertise will contribute to the production of high-quality vehicles while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electrical systems, equipment, and machinery used in the manufacturing process.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, utilizing a range of testing equipment and diagnostic tools to ensure rapid resolution.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to address breakdowns and malfunctions promptly, minimizing production downtime.
- Install, modify, and upgrade electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to meet safety standards and production requirements.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately perform tasks and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimize equipment performance.
- Conduct preventive maintenance procedures to extend the lifespan of equipment and minimize the likelihood of breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections using digital systems or written documentation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Must be a ticketed Electrician, additional tickets an asset.
- Proven experience as an electrician in an industrial or manufacturing setting, preferably within the automotive sector.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and components commonly used in manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems is an asset.
