About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Wenqian Xu. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and companionship to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Daily Living Tasks: Assist clients with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide Companionship: Spend quality time with clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, and watching movies.
  • Assist with Household Chores: Assist clients with household chores such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation.
  • Support with Medication Management: Assist clients with medication management, including administering medication and keeping track of medication schedules.
  • Provide Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate
Work Environment

As a Home Support Worker with Wenqian Xu, you will work in a non-smoking environment, providing care and companionship to clients in their own homes.
