About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Wenqian Xu. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring clients receive adequate nutrition
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment
  • Provide companionship and social interaction, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness
  • Assist with medication management, as required
  • Support clients with mobility issues, helping them to maintain their independence
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Reliability and patience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes, community centers, and other locations. You will be required to travel to clients' homes, using your own vehicle or public transportation.
