Position Overview

As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients in their own residences. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of supportive tasks tailored to meet the individual needs of elderly clients.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 month and up to 7 months of relevant experience is preferred.
Work Environment

The position is based in a non-smoking environment, primarily within the clients' homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with aquatic activities, such as swimming.
  • Encourage and facilitate regular physical activities, including walking.
  • Manage laundry duties for clothing and household linens.
  • Perform minor repairs on clothing and linens.
  • Conduct light cleaning and housekeeping tasks.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Shop for groceries and essential household items.
  • Prepare and serve balanced and nutritious meals.
Certifications

A valid First Aid Certificate is required for this position.

Target Audience

This role primarily focuses on providing support to elderly individuals.

Safety and Security

A criminal record check is mandatory for all applicants.
