About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to join our team at Wenqian Xu. As a Home Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Clients with Daily Tasks: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as with light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Provide Companionship: Engage in conversations, play games, and participate in activities with clients to combat loneliness and isolation.
  • Assist with Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Shop for Essentials: Shop for groceries and household supplies for clients, ensuring they have everything they need.
  • Perform Light Housekeeping: Assist clients with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and linen care.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication skills, reliability, patience, and the ability to work independently.
