Key Responsibilities:
- Meal preparation and planning.
- Housekeeping duties, including laundry.
- Personal care and hygiene assistance.
- Medication management.
- Transportation for appointments and errands.
- Dementia care support.
- Providing companionship and quality time.
- Assisting with client pets.
Requirements:
- Proficient with smartphones for clocking in/out and taking notes.
- Completion of a criminal record check.
- Reliable job performance and attendance.
- Access to dependable transportation.
- Professional demeanor and respectful attitude.
- Ability to perform basic housekeeping and meal preparation tasks.
- Home support worker certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Flexible availability is essential.
- Previous experience in caregiving or elder care is advantageous.
- Two or more personal references are required.
- Applicants must reside in British Columbia.
Job Details:
- Type: Part-time.
- Schedule: Mornings/Day shifts.
- Salary: $20.50 - $23.00 per hour.
- Work Location: In-person.
- Expected hours: 0-40 per week.
