Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service counter attendants and food preparers to ensure efficient service and high-quality food products.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to ensure adequate stock levels.
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner to maintain a positive customer experience.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control decisions.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis to ensure transparency and accountability.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment is preferred.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude are essential for success in this role.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. The ability to bend, crouch, and kneel is also required.
