Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 1420358 Alberta Ltd o/a Tim Hortons. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment for staff and customers.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for management to make informed decisions.
  • Communication: Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service management role.
  • Work Setting: Various locations, with a focus on maintaining a high level of customer service and quality control.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
