Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment for staff and customers.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for management to make informed decisions.
  • Communication: Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service management role.
  • Work Setting: Various locations, with a focus on maintaining a high level of customer service and quality control.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
