About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in soliciting, advising, and providing quotes to prospective clients by leveraging partnerships with external carriers.
  • Oversee the sales process and implementation strategies.
  • Manage all facets of employee benefits programs, including the initiation of new business, renewals, mid-term adjustments, and claims.
  • Develop a personalized sales goal supported by a comprehensive training plan in collaboration with the National Benefits Leadership Team.
  • Balance the ability to close new business while nurturing client relationships to ensure strong retention rates.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in employee benefits.
  • Possession of an LLQP license or a commitment to obtain one.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence necessary for success.
  • Customer-focused, approachable, and professional demeanor.
  • Proven consultative selling approach.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Highly developed sales and customer service capabilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Office.
  • Familiarity with social media and a willingness to engage with emerging digital tools.
  • GBA, CEBS designation or progress towards it is considered an asset.
