Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiological Technologist to join our Diagnostic Services team at Hamilton Health Sciences. As a key member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating, performing, and evaluating diagnostic services examinations within various modalities and disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and perform diagnostic services examinations, including X-Ray, CT Scan, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, PET, Ultrasound, and Interventional Radiology
  • Guide and direct clinical and technical associates and students in a teaching and research environment
  • Provide patient care within the core values of respect, caring, innovation, and accountability
  • Rotate through other modalities and sites based on qualifications and unit requirements

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved training program in Radiological Technology
  • Current member in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologist of Ontario (CMRITO)
  • 3 to 5 years of experience preferred
  • Interventional Radiography course preferred, CAMRT 1 & 2, including certificate
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) registration
  • Membership in the CAMRT/OAMRT preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a team environment
  • Demonstrated effective communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Effective problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Evidence of participation in ongoing education and professional development
  • Complete understanding of Radiation Safety Protection Guidelines
