Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Public Accountant to join our team at 1034277 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our accounting and financial services department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting System Administration: Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems to ensure efficient and accurate financial data management.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze clients' financial records to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal controls to mitigate risk and maintain financial integrity.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies, including financial statements and reports.
  • Business Advisory Services: Provide financial, business, and tax advice to clients to help them achieve their goals.
  • Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll administration, including processing payroll, managing benefits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in public accounting or a related field.
  • Certifications: Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) or Certified General Accountant (CGA) designation.
  • Skills: Proficient in accounting software, including CANTAX, MS Office, and Sage Accounting Software.
