About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Services Specialist to join our team at CIBC. As a key member of our banking team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, providing exceptional customer service, and delivering tailored financial solutions to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Acquisition and Retention
    • Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain high-value clients
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and personalized service
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue
  • Financial Planning and Advice
    • Provide expert financial planning and advice to clients, including investment, savings, and borrowing solutions
    • Assess clients' financial needs and develop tailored plans to meet their goals
    • Monitor and adjust plans as needed to ensure clients' financial well-being
  • Business Development and Growth
    • Develop and execute business plans to drive growth and revenue
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations
    • Monitor and analyze market trends to stay ahead of the competition
  • Community Involvement and Marketing
    • Participate in community events and activities to promote CIBC's brand and values
    • Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new clients and promote CIBC's services
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community leaders and influencers
Requirements
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Financial Planning and Analysis Skills
    • Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis principles
    • Ability to develop and implement financial plans to meet clients' goals
  • Business Development and Growth Skills
    • Ability to develop and execute business plans to drive growth and revenue
    • Strong understanding of market trends and competitor analysis
  • Professional Certifications and Designations
    • Professional certifications, such as ACCFM or CR, are an asset
    • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance
