Job Summary

Porter Airlines is seeking a skilled Training Developer to join our Technical Operations Systems Support Team. This role will focus on creating high-quality training programs and materials to support the development of our team members' proficiencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop training programs and materials for Technical Operations Systems Support
  • Utilize online learning platforms, guides, simulations, and in-person instructional techniques to build team members' skills
  • Review and update training programs and materials as required by departmental needs and process changes
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and validation of systems processes
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve organizational goals
Requirements
  • Adult Learning Techniques and Computer-Based course development an asset
  • Experience working in aviation maintenance departments an asset
  • Experience with aviation maintenance management software systems an asset
  • High level of computing and software skills/knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive unit
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced and flexible work environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
