Job Summary

This role supports the Technical Operations Systems Support Team at Porter Airlines by developing training programs and materials for users of support systems.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design and implement training programs and materials related to Technical Operations Systems Support for end users.
  • Utilize online learning platforms, guides, simulations, and in-person instructional techniques to enhance the proficiency of Technical Operations Team Members.
  • Review and update training programs and materials as required by departmental needs and process changes.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and validation of systems processes.
  • Attend regular organizational meetings and contribute to the development of the company's Safety Management System (SMS).
  • Actively participate in the reporting of hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations, and promote the Company Safety Policy.

Qualifications

  • Adult Learning Techniques and Computer-Based course development are assets.
  • Experience working in aviation maintenance departments is an asset.
  • Experience with aviation maintenance management software systems is an asset.
  • High level of computing and software skills/knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive unit.
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced and flexible work environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
