Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities
Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food products are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
Train and Develop StaffTrain staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that staff are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
Manage Inventory and SuppliesEstimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
Ensure Quality ControlEnsure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary to maintain high standards.
Manage Budget and ReportsPrepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Address Customer ComplaintsAddress customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and take steps to resolve issues promptly.
Requirements- Education and Experience
No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment is necessary.
Work EnvironmentOur food service establishment is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. You must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Physical DemandsThe physical demands of this role include standing, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking. You must be physically fit and able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Personal SuitabilityYou must have excellent oral communication skills, be a team player, and have flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
