Job Title: Seasonal Packaging Technician

Unilever is seeking a Seasonal Packaging Technician to join our team at our Rexdale facility. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production processes.

Job Summary:

The Seasonal Packaging Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining packaging equipment, performing quality checks, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This is a seasonal position that will run from June 2024 to September 30th, 2024.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain packaging equipment to ensure efficient production processes
  • Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues
  • Collaborate with production supervisors to achieve production goals
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Knowledge of WHMIS, LOTO, and GMP
  • 2-3 years of manufacturing experience in a fast-moving consumer goods company
  • IT skills, including proficiency in machine data and control systems
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical equations
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and comfort using hand tools
