Job Summary

We are seeking a Seasonal Packaging Technician to join our team at the Rexdale facility in Canada. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our packaging lines, maintaining high-quality standards, and adhering to all safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain packaging equipment, performing routine cleaning and lubrication tasks
  • Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet our high standards
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving machine issues, working collaboratively with the production team
  • Participate in changeovers, using basic hand tools as needed, and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of WHMIS, LOTO, and GMP
  • 2-3 years of manufacturing experience in a fast-moving consumer goods company, preferably in a similar role
  • Competency in machine data and control systems, with basic IT skills
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical equations and possess basic mechanical knowledge
  • HACCP training is an asset
