Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a Retail Store Supervisor to oversee operations at our front store.

Position Overview
The Retail Store Supervisor is accountable for the effective management of the front store. Responsibilities include customer service, staff training and scheduling, product merchandising, inventory management, and financial reporting.
- Work schedule: 40 hours per week.
- Store hours: Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Typical shifts: Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Key Objectives: To manage the front store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, fostering a professional atmosphere, supervising staff, and maintaining profitability.
Core Responsibilities
Store Management- Lead initiatives to meet strategic store goals.
- Engage in professional development activities.
- Deliver exceptional customer service consistently.
- Enhance brand visibility through community engagement and industry participation.
- Uphold company policies to create a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with store policies among all staff and address violations appropriately.
- Oversee cash handling, daily reporting, and banking activities.
- Maintain store security and cleanliness standards.
- Foster positive relationships within the local business community.
- Supervise and train front store employees.
- Coordinate work schedules and oversee daily operations.
- Collaborate with Human Resources for hiring and disciplinary actions.
- Manage inventory in alignment with budgetary guidelines.
- Assist in purchasing and pricing strategies to optimize margins.
- Monitor promotional activities and adjust product offerings as needed.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping for inventory and pricing.
- Maintain planogram standards and ensure product availability.
- Oversee signage and promotional materials for effective merchandising.
- Align store operations with corporate objectives.
- Participate in financial planning and reporting processes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in retail management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Must complete a Criminal Record Check due to the nature of the role.
Experience
- Preferred: 3 years in retail management.
