This role is crucial in assisting individuals to maintain their independence and improve their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personal care and home support tailored to individual client needs.
  • Foster a compassionate and respectful environment for clients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in both English and French.
  • Completion of Grade 12 education.
  • Possession of a Home Care Attendant Certificate or Health Care Aide Certificate with a community component.
  • Understanding of Safe Food Handling practices.
  • Experience with elderly or disabled clients is preferred.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated reliability in work attendance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Successful completion of Criminal Record, Vulnerable Sector, Adult Abuse Registry, and Child Abuse Registry checks.
  • Immunizations in accordance with policy.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and access to an insured vehicle.
