Automation Technical Sales Specialist

Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Automation Technical Sales Specialist to join our team in Sudbury. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for representing Rockwell Automation Controllers, HMI, and software in Northern Ontario. You will work closely with our Regional Automation Manager to develop and execute an annual strategic business plan for sales development.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute commercial activities as part of an annual strategic business plan
- Manage an opportunity funnel to achieve sales objectives
- Support Westburne and Rockwell Automation sales representatives with account planning and execution
- Act as a pre-sale technical consultant to provide technical solutions to customers
- Provide post-sale technical support to build customer competency and confidence
- Conduct technical presentations and product updates
- Attend supplier partner training to maintain specialized product and application knowledge
- Electrical/Electronic/Automation Technology diploma or degree from a recognized institution
- Minimum 2 years of experience in automation or technical product sales/support
- Understanding of sales principles such as Strategic Selling, Customer-Centric Selling, Conceptual Selling, etc.
- Technical understanding of electrical circuits and industrial automation
- Product and application knowledge of Rockwell Automation Controllers, HMI's, and software
- Valid driver's license and passport required
