Job Brief

Graybar Canada is seeking a skilled Automation Controls Specialist to promote and sell our automation products and services to new and existing customers in the Greater Sudbury area.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical automation products, preferably with experience in Schneider Automation, and possess excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting and selling Graybar Canada automation products and services to new and existing customers.
  • Actively seeking new customers in the territory to secure profitable business while maintaining and developing new relationships with current customers.
  • Preparing estimates and quote pricing, credit terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
  • Consulting with customers on Graybar Automation solutions for their needs.
  • Participating in training sessions, trade shows, and sales meetings as required.
  • Consistently upgrading knowledge of Automation products through supplier training.
  • Providing technical support for specific projects to resolve issues.
  • Ability to cross competitor products to Graybar Canada offerings.
  • Team up with Graybar Account Managers to provide detailed automation support to leverage total Graybar solutions.
  • Ensuring compliance with company sales policy.
  • Tracking opportunities on Graybar Canada's CRM.
  • Conducting automation product training seminars for new and existing customers.
  • Striving for continuous growth and improvement.
