About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor to join our team at EASTMAN LOGISTICS LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our logistics department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Operational Plans

Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and ensure the efficient operation of our logistics department.

Coordinate Logistics Activities

Organize and coordinate logistics activities, including the movement of goods, equipment, and personnel.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Organize and maintain inventory, requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.

Lead a Team

Co-ordinate, assign, and review work with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Monitor Performance

Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members to improve performance and productivity.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a logistics or operations role.

Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Computer Skills

Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.

Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 30 to 35 hours per week. The work language is English.
