As a Culinary Services Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing the operations of our food preparation team. Your leadership will ensure that our culinary offerings meet the highest standards of quality and service.
Job Details:
- Location: Markham, ON
- Salary: $17.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week
- Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
- Start Date: Immediate availability
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the activities of staff engaged in food preparation and portioning.
- Assess and estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Ensure that all food and service adhere to established quality control standards.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive reports as required.
- Compile food order summaries for the chef.
- Possess a thorough understanding of the culinary styles relevant to the establishment.
- Oversee the assembly of food trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
- Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
Supervision:
- Manage a team of 5-10 individuals.
Additional Information:
Security and Safety:
- Completion of a criminal record check is required.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced and dynamic setting.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking is necessary.
- Extended periods of standing may be required.
- Position may be physically demanding.
