Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Canada Candy Company INC. as an Administrative Coordinator. This role will provide administrative support to our operations team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Daily Operations: Monitor and analyze daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Oversee Employee Data: Manage and analyze employee data and information to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Compile Data and Statistics: Gather and compile data, statistics, and other information to support business decisions.
  • Office Supplies and Inventory: Order and maintain office supplies and inventory to ensure a well-stocked and efficient workspace.
  • Payroll Administration: Assist with payroll administration, including processing payroll and managing employee benefits.
  • Information Filing Systems: Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems to ensure accurate and secure storage of company documents.
  • Correspondence and Documents: Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
  • Data Entry: Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Digital Database Management: Maintain and manage digital databases to ensure accurate and secure storage of company data.
  • Basic Bookkeeping: Perform basic bookkeeping tasks to ensure accurate financial records.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in an administrative role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 44 hours per week.
