ABOUT YOU
As a vital member of The Grounds Guys team, you will execute landscape maintenance tasks with exceptional quality and service. Upholding our values, you will demonstrate respect and courtesy towards all clients and colleagues.
You are self-driven, excel in fast-paced settings, and effectively manage your time to meet deadlines. A minimum of 5 years of landscaping experience and strong communication skills with supervisors, peers, and clients are essential.
Depending on qualifications and performance, there may be opportunities for winter work involving snow removal.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Execute landscape "Extras" including hand weeding, planting of annuals, perennials, and shrubs, as well as seasonal clean-ups, trimming, and pruning.
  • Utilize various mechanical and hand tools such as bed edgers, blowers, dump trailers, pruners, line trimmers, chain saws, compact loaders, and tillers.
  • Conduct landscape enhancement tasks like mulch application, plantings, topsoil application, lawn seeding, and sod installation.
  • Address client inquiries, comments, and concerns, or refer them to the Team Leader as necessary.
  • Plan and organize jobs to ensure that resources and materials are readily available.
  • Assist with the maintenance and repair of equipment.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or GED (or current student status).
  • 5 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Valid G Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Background check.
  • Reliable transportation to the shop.
  • Able to work during the day, on weekends, and during early mornings or evenings.
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds to waist level and fulfilling all physical requirements associated with this role.
This is a seasonal position.
