Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Landscape Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our grounds team, you will be responsible for performing landscape maintenance and design tasks at a high level of quality and service.

Responsibilities
  • Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as hand garden weeding, planting of annuals, perennials, shrubs, spring clean-up, fall clean-up, trimming, and pruning, garden bed creation and planting
  • Operate a variety of mechanical and hand equipment including bed edgers, commercial mowers, blowers, dump trailers, pruners, line trimmers, and tillers
  • Perform landscape enhancement activities such as mulch application, plantings, top soil application, lawn seeding, sod installation
  • Address clients' questions, comments, and concerns or refer clients to the Team Leader as appropriate
  • Assist Team Leader with job planning and organization, thereby ensuring sufficient resources and materials are readily available
  • Assist with equipment maintenance and repair under supervision of the Garden Team Lead
  • Perform other duties as required
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED (or current student status)
  • One year experience in field or related
  • Valid G Driver's License with clean driver's abstract
  • Background check
  • Own reliable transportation to shop
  • Able to work days, weekends, early morning, early evening
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level and perform all other physical requirements associated with this position
Compensation

Rate of Pay: $18 to $22 per hour depending on experience.
