Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Landscape Team Lead to join our team on a seasonal basis. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for leading our landscape maintenance team and ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service.
Responsibilities- Landscape Maintenance: Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as hand garden weeding, planting of annuals, perennials, shrubs, spring clean-up, fall clean-up, trimming, and pruning, garden bed creation and planting, sod installations.
- Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of mechanical and hand equipment including bed edgers, blowers, dump trailers, pruners, line trimmers, chain saws, compact loaders, and tillers.
- Landscape Enhancement: Perform landscape enhancement activities such as mulch application, plantings, top soil application, lawn seeding, sod installation.
- Client Communication: Address clients' questions, comments, and concerns or refer clients to the Team Leader as appropriate.
- Job Planning and Organization: Job planning and organization, thereby ensuring sufficient resources and materials are readily available.
- Equipment Maintenance: Assist with equipment maintenance and repair.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as required.
- Education: High school diploma/GED (or current student status).
- Experience: 5 years experience in field or related.
- Driver's License: Valid G Driver's License with clean driver's abstract.
- Background Check: Background check.
- Transportation: Own reliable transportation to shop.
- Availability: Able to work days, weekends, early morning, early evening. Willingness to work occasional overtime.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level and perform all other physical requirements associated with this position.
