Key Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing support for Internal Controls within Global Transaction Services, ensuring appropriate oversight of operational risks.
- Collaborate with various business lines, technology teams, and support units to facilitate the New Initiative Risk Assessment (NIRA) process, ensuring comprehensive risk evaluation.
- Assist in executing the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) program to identify, evaluate, and document risks effectively.
- Work alongside Compliance partners to plan and implement the Compliance Risk and Control Assessment (CRCA) for GTS.
- Support regulatory reporting and provide updates on compliance issues to relevant authorities.
- Coordinate with business line partners to report non-financial risks to the Core Risk Committee.
- Assist in developing and maintaining Key Risk Indicators and metrics for effective non-financial risk management.
- Monitor and report on the status of contracts related to Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), guiding business units in contract completion.
- Oversee Issue Management tracking and related action plans.
- Prepare for regulatory and audit inquiries by compiling information and formulating responses.
- Contribute to the development and communication of processes to support policy and procedural changes.
- Review the Enterprise List of Products and report findings to Data Governance quarterly.
- Update the Risk Management Dashboard concerning NIRA, Audit, Operational Risk Events, and ongoing Issues Management.
- Identify opportunities for enhancing controls and improving process efficiencies.
- Assist management with special projects and ad-hoc requests.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in banking or finance, or relevant post-secondary education.
- Strong understanding of internal controls and risk management practices.
Work Environment:
Standard office conditions apply, with the possibility of tight deadlines and some travel between locations.
