Restaurant Manager Job Description

At Host India Cuisine, we are seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dining establishment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of our menu, managing staff performance, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and optimize daily operations to ensure maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve food preparation methods and menu pricing in line with our restaurant budget.
  • Monitor and manage staff performance, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including staff scheduling and inventory management.
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations and provincial/territorial liquor legislation.
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
  • Address customer complaints and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Manage events and ensure seamless execution.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Ability to work 30-40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
