About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at MASK INDIAN KITCHEN + BAR INC. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the high standards of our customers.
    • Work closely with our kitchen team to ensure seamless execution of menu items and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Staff Management
    • Supervise and train a team of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional results.
    • Lead by example and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
    • Work with our procurement team to ensure timely and cost-effective ordering of supplies and ingredients.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that all food prepared and served meets our high standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Business Development
    • Work with our marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies that showcase our culinary expertise and drive business growth.
    • Identify opportunities to increase revenue and profitability through menu engineering, pricing, and promotions.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Language
    • Fluent in English
  • Work Environment
    • 40 hours per week
