Job Description: Learning Experience Architect
We are seeking a talented and passionate Learning Experience Architect to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the future of learning by designing and developing immersive and impactful learning experiences for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop engaging learning experiences that go beyond traditional content creation, considering user experience, interface design, and the overall learning environment.
- Take a holistic approach to learning, focusing on the entire learner journey and incorporating factors like user engagement, motivation, and interaction design.
- Utilize design thinking principles to craft immersive and engaging learning experiences that extend beyond traditional instructional content.
- Integrate emerging technologies, simulations, gamification, and adaptive learning principles into the learning experience.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze learning needs, gather requirements, and ensure user needs and learning goals are central to the design process.
- Work closely with delivery teams to drive a shared understanding of client vision/goals throughout multimedia development.
- Stay abreast of trends in education and learning methodologies to drive innovation in learning design.
Qualifications:
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of instructional design principles and practices.
- Deep understanding of UX design processes and best practices.
- Ability to translate abstract visions and goals into valuable deliverables.
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in user experience design and/or developing learning solutions across different learning segments.
- Proven experience working with client stakeholders and supporting program delivery.
- Applying pedagogical theory and learning design principles to strategy, planning, development, and design.
- Experience developing digital content for various audiences.
- Leveraging different tools and functionality of Brightspace to integrate interactivity, multimedia, and features.
- Adapting training materials and course content to suit different methods of learning delivery.
