Service Shop Supervisor

The 401 Group of Companies is seeking a highly skilled Service Shop Supervisor to lead our team of technicians. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of shop operations, including work dispatching and team management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee staff performance and ensure efficient shop management.
- Manage parts inventory, including ordering and stock displays.
- Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries and service-related issues.
- Train and mentor new technicians and service staff.
- Evaluate warranty and service contract coverage by reviewing documentation.
- Prepare cost estimates for repairs, including materials and labor.
- Create detailed repair orders by documenting vehicle issues and required services.
- Maintain customer relationships by providing clear explanations of estimates and repair processes.
- Keep accurate records of service issues and resolutions.
- Enhance job knowledge through continuous education and training.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience in the powersports or marine industry is preferred.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- A minimum of several years in a customer service role.
- Strong technical knowledge and task-oriented approach.
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor is advantageous.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
