About the Role

This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting our airline partner onsite at their office location.

Key Responsibilities
  • On-Site Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact with the airline partner, providing support, guidance, and training to ensure seamless operations.
  • Client Request Processing: Process client requests received from the airline through the API Operations system, assessing all customer needs and responding promptly, accurately, and professionally.
  • Task Execution and Follow-Up: Follow up on all client requests and transactions, ensuring all tasks are fully executed and client satisfaction is critical.
  • Critical Issue Alerting: Alert supervisor on all items of critical nature that require management involvement to solve and/or avoid potential challenges that may impact either the client or API adversely.
  • Negotiation and Resolution: Negotiate with vendors to achieve the best outcome for the client and API, and resolve client disagreements in a calm and professional manner.
  • Operational Adaptability: Adapt to irregular operations (IROPS) to accommodate needs arising from the changing dynamics of airline schedules and unforeseen situations.
  • Knowledge and Training: Learn and maintain knowledge of API's call center work methodology and reservation systems to best serve API's clients in the most efficient and professional manner.
Competencies
  • Airline Knowledge: Knowledge of airline crew scheduling is a strong plus.
  • Technical Skills: Prior experience with GDS systems, hotel reservation systems, airline reservation systems, and/or related functions is preferred but not required.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess great telephone etiquette.
  • Writing and Computer Skills: Excellent writing skills and excellent computer skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with great organizational skills, flexible work schedule, including availability to work weekends and holidays, and able to work overtime if needed.
  • Language Skills: Second language is a plus.
