Job Summary

The Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to computer hardware and software. This includes providing technical guidance and support to users, as well as maintaining a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and assistance to customers and employees via phone, email, and in-person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to computer hardware and software
  • Maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
  • Provide technical guidance and support to users
  • Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software
  • Provide customer service and manage incidents
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP diploma in a related field
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a technical support role
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Work Environment

The Technical Support Specialist will work in a computer hardware or software retailer/wholesaler environment, providing technical support and assistance to customers and employees.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
