About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team at Khalsa IT Services. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries and provide timely and effective solutions to technical issues related to computer systems, software, and network infrastructure.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve complex technical problems, often requiring research and consultation with technical documentation and experts.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to users on the effective use of computer systems, software, and network resources.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of technical issues, solutions, and user feedback.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal teams and external clients to understand technical requirements and provide support.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in the ongoing evaluation and improvement of technical processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field, such as computer science or information technology.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week, with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
