Job SummaryThe Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to computer hardware and software. This includes providing technical guidance and support to users, as well as maintaining a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical assistance and support to customers and employees via phone, email, and in-person
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to computer hardware and software
- Provide technical guidance and support to users
- Maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
- Collaborate with other technical support analysts to resolve complex technical issues
- College/CEGEP diploma in a related field
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a technical support role
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including Android, device drivers, intranet, internet, servers, desktop applications, security software, word processing software, mail server software, Mac OS, MS Office, MS Windows, SharePoint, and spreadsheet
The Technical Support Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
