Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Executive to join our team at EightSix Network. As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving business transient revenue within specific segments, identifying and developing strong business relationships, and achieving revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve transient revenue goals by responding to incoming group/catering opportunities and leveraging various tools and systems.
  • Understand the overall market and know how to sell against competitors.
  • Secure the best opportunities for the property based on market conditions and property needs.
  • Use negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts.
  • Partner with Area Sales, Account Sales, and GSO to identify transient business and achieve revenue goals.
  • Develop transient sales revenue, operation budgets, and provide forecasting reports.
  • Work with the management team to create and implement a transient sales/marketing plan addressing revenue, customers, and market.
  • Assist with selling, implementation, and follow-through of transient sales promotions.
  • Attend post check-out feedback sessions to understand transient needs and obtain feedback on quality of product and service levels.
  • Provide accurate, complete, and effective turnover to Event Management as applicable by segment.
  • Execute and support Marriott's Customer Service Standards and hotel's Brand Standards.
  • Conduct walk-throughs and site inspections, as required.
  • Monitor same day selling procedures to maximize room revenue and control hotel occupancy.
  • Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked.
  • Participate in and practice daily service basics of the brand.
  • Verify that the property implements a seamless turnover from sales to operations and back to sales while consistently delivering high level of service.
  • Monitor the effective resolution of guest issues that arise as a result of the sales process.
  • Verify successful performance by increasing revenues, controlling expenses, and providing a return on investment for the owner and Marriott International.
  • Provide strategic segment insight to Sales Executives focused on transient Hotel Sales Objectives.
