Position Summary

Reporting Structure

Under the direction of a Clinical Supervisor or designated leader, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive nursing care. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting clients and families in achieving optimal health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans aligned with established standards and protocols.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and safety.
  • Provide direct patient care, including wound care, hygiene assistance, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transitions and coordinated care.
  • Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to confidentiality guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in British Columbia.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of nursing principles and practices, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records systems.
