We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide supervision to care staff and continue nursing procedures in the absence of an RN.
- Administer medications and provide personal care assistance to residents within the full scope of practice of an LPN.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant.
- Completion of recent course(s) in pharmacology, plus one (1) year's recent related experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Comprehensive benefit packages including extended health/dental and a municipal pension plan for part-time and full-time employees.
- Four weeks vacation with one year of continuous service.
