About the Role

Rogers Communications is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team in Fort McMurray. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base across various media platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic relationship-building and sales initiatives.
  • Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients across multiple platforms, including television, digital, radio, and out-of-home advertising.
  • Sales Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute sales strategies, proposals, and presentations to meet revenue targets.
  • Account Management: Manage and grow existing client accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service and meeting sales targets.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular sales reports and analysis to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the media industry, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and sales abilities, with a focus on driving revenue growth and expanding customer base.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, with experience in sales forecasting and data analysis.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
